Announcing a US Citizens Preparatory Meeting for the
World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD)

The first hour will consist of a briefing and discussion with the State
Department and others on the US Government Delegation to WSSD, followed by a
CitNet NGO strategy session to help coordinate US NGO preparation efforts.

We welcome all newcomers interested in the issues and encourage you to ask
questions, but a minimal level of knowledge about the World Summit will be
beneficial.

Since this is a follow up to previous meetings, attendees are expected to be
familiar with the Summit process and keep questions focused. You may find a

If you would like to suggest topics to be addressed and/or to discuss at
next Friday's meeting, please contact CitNet to be added to the speakers list. We
encourage any experts to raise pertinent questions for the US government
delegation. Priority will be given to those on the speakers the

allows.
