Sustainable Communities

Part of the process of sustainable community development involves recognizing the interrelationship between local and global forces, that not only is the local human community part of a larger bioregional community, but that it is also part of a larger global community of communities. Thus, our sense of local identity includes an understanding of the global impacts of our local consumption and production patterns.
