Over 80 campuses participate in 2009 "Earth Hour"

Universities and schools across the United States joined citizens and other institutions in observing "Earth Hour" from 8:30 to 9:30 pm on March 28th, turning off their lights and non-essential electrical appliances and equipment. These schools and universities were officially recognized this year as "flagship campuses" in encouraging awareness and energy conservation practices among students, faculty and citizens. More
